Under the direct supervision of the Operational Excellence Manager, is responsible for ensuring all incoming docketing is processed accurately and timely while providing the required support to assist the docketing team as necessary; completing all assigned projects in a timely manner with a high level of quality. Utilizing special computerized programs, tracks critical dates and data to assure that required actions take place when required, and communicate with the customer the status of the complete patent portfolio. The customer may be a private individual or organization of the United States or other country.
Utilizing special computerized programs, the Software Support Specialist provides support and training to various positions of the organization.
Supports Docketing systems and other SaaS systems where necessary, which includes: Fulfilling requests for reports, bulk contact changes, personnel access, template creation, matter reassignments, troubleshooting issues and escalating where necessary, coordinating system updates/downtime and testing where applicable.
Provides training, support and routine consultation to internal and external users. Assisting users in defining requirements for reporting needs.
Maintains and troubleshoots automated batch processes used in delivering and exporting data internally and externally.
Assist in gathering data and performing data analyses utilizing reporting tools and Microsoft SQL query tools
Under the direct supervision of the Case Management Group Team Leader, the Legal Support Representative is responsible for completing all assigned projects in a timely manner with a high level of quality. Utilizing special computerized programs, the Legal Support Representative will enter and track critical dates and data to assure that required actions take place when required; communicates with the customer the deadlines and status of the documents; updates and verifies applicable IP documents, databases, and deadlines; and verifies Patent Trade Office data. This position does not perform any litigation work. The customer may be a private individual or organization of the United States or other country.
